Beneath the Citys light. {Closed, Test for Sangre}

High above was a muted, ripping sound high above and out stepped a single figure. She'd been standing on that plane of air for some time and felt the fall of a few Menos. "Shinigami..." The word was spat from her as if a bad taste lingered in her mouth. Those icy blue eyes scanning across the city scape below her, though the Shinigami was keeping it's reiatsu quiet and making the damn creature hard to pin down.

Until of course the Konso was preformed. The Soul Burial was easily felt as the spirit was allowed passage to Soul Society to begin it's 'life' anew. Many claimed the sensation of such pure reiatsu elating; Sangre felt only a prickling heat down her back as her lips drew up in a sneer. Be that as it may, Sangre now had her quarry.

Her body leaving only static lines in the air as she used Sonido...

At ground level the sound of static hum was easily heard and Sangre already had the katana drawn to her hands. She was close to the Shop of Urahara, though she couldn't know the specifics, she knew she had to do this quickly. The death of a Shinigami was prized, in her mind, and yet another step, another proof that power was in her grasp.

Her voice, cool as false dawn breeze sounded as the Shinigami dispatched the last lost soul, "You offer such a gentle service just after destroying those that were unable to fight the true despairs of death? Do you even feel pity at the felling of those only doing as instinct drives them? Or have you never even thought of what lies beneath a Hollow's mask?" Sangre had one hand in her pocket and the point of her blade nearly touched the ground. Still, those eyes, flashing with a growing fire within her were focused and acute. "You're the champion of spirits...did you not think the Hollow has similar?"

Sangre, of course, was no Champion to any Hollow, they were food and she could care less what happened to them. Still, she knew that the Shinigami claimed to have the hearts the Arrancar did not. Seeking to set doubt in the mind so that the reactions would be just a second slower, hesitating just enough for teeth to rip the throat.

The smile that crossed Sangre's face was a horrible one and may speak to Matsuri that she stepped just as the Arrancar wanted, had predicted. As the Kidou was announced, the Arrancar spoke, "La Rabia y Devora, Enrida se Lobo." There was a sudden pulse of brutal reiatsu that drove the Shakkaho straight back towards Matsuri as the red flames seemed to roar in defiance to the press of Sangre's Release.

Whether Matsuri dodges or takes the blow, once the smoke clears no one stands where the Arrancar just was. Instead the figure dove from above, having now more speed than she initially possessed and having jumped up as soon as her transformation was complete. The snarl from her as wicked claws reached for Matsuri was entirely inhuman. Brilliant red eyes burned with a hatred that few ever got to witness.

Still, she had the mind of a Wolf that hunted alone. She had to gauge the woman before revealing anything that would tip the scales against her. She needed to know the Shinigami's speed and that would be known as she rocketed towards the young looking girl. In the back of her mind, Sangre knew it would have to be decided quickly. Powerful reiatsu was about and Sangre would not tolerate her own death, it would be wasteful.

Matsuri had seen the kido deflected and knew what had happened. The release of the arrancar's true power. It was the only way that a kido would be deflected. The only way that a blast of that much reiatsu would be released. She held her hand out to block the kido and spoke.

Shunko!

Energy swirled around Matsuri as the move was released. Her body taking the shape of a faint glow just like everyone who used shunkou. The back of her shinigami Uniform, as well as the front and sleeves all blew away into nothing. She stood before the girl with the bottom half of her Shinigami uniform and her breasts covered in a cloth bra of sorts. With one hand to block the kido and the other aimed above her to counter the Arrancar. A mass of energy spiraled around Matsuri's hand than bolted out towards the arrancar.


(FYI, its the Kido Bolt that Is usable in Shunkou, I haven't seen it actually called anything, I dub it Flash Bolt for lolz, but its basicly a pure bolt of lighting xd and its headed your way~)

Oh-ho! The little Soul Reaper was fast! But Sangre was hardly at her own limit. Her grin split and revealed the now sharp fangs as a wolf like foot impacted a plane of air and she shot off to the right. Having seen the build of reiatsu to shape the kidou bolt. Indeed, Matsuri glowed harshly with reiatsu, it was toeing the limit of her being able to see with La Vista de Hunter (Hunter's Sight).

Dropping the La Vista de Hunter in favor of not being blinded should the girl produce more reiatsu, a wolfish tongue licking across her upper lip. Sangre crouched low and wounds ripped from her legs; deep cuts along her thighs and calves. Rocketing forward in an unbelieving burst of speed that was easily read as beyond even her Released ability. Padded feet barely even touching the ground in the charge.

Purest Blood Lust, Pura Sed de Sangre or the sacrifice of her own blood in favor for speed and strength beyond her own station, was the truest form of seeking power, Sangre mused many times since learning the nature of it. What was her body in lieu of reaching ever higher? She had to be careful, however, call too strong at it and it would give her opponent too large an advantage.

Blurring forward in the blood-imbued speed and the same thin claw rips appeared along her shoulders and arms as her claws came in. Striking forward in shocking speed and with an intense brutal strength behind them. Her charge didn't halt, trying to force Matsuri to back up as she pressed forward.

Matsuri was hardly impressed with the speed. She had dealt with much faster speeds when she was training with Yoruichi. She let out a sigh and Flash stepped away. An After Image being left behind. A typical skill when one was as fast as a user in Shunko. Shunko increased the speed of the user and the strength of the user, sacraficing their kidou use for it. Matsuri would appear behind Sangre with her fist aimed for the girls back left side. Her fist encased in shunko the attack would be deadly, very deadly. A blow capable of breaking through an Arrancar's hardened skin and still break bones in the process.

Just disregard, this Shinigami looked practically bored. It was no common feat for any being to reach beyond it's ability and act on a different level all together yet this Shinigami watched her as if she'd only thrown a weak punch and nothing more. Indignity burned in Sangre, her Hollow self clawing harshly at her mind as it demanded blood. Blood of any kind from the Shinigami whose apathy would undoubtedly cause even a sanguine a pause.

The dismissive girl struck but only a second as the muted hum responded to the strike, Sonido leading Sangre to the sky above. Blood seeping from her back, she'd taken a nasty blow but lessened it as best she was able. Her arm numb and practically useless due to the nerves being overwhelmed. The scapula cracked.

"Shinigami..." Sangre would not fight a battle she could not win. This was certainly one she couldn't even stand on her own two feet for. So outmatched the girl sighed in her bother of having to deal with such a lowly Arrancar, [color=red"Since you are so bored with this then I'll not keep you."[/color] Retreat would be a saving grace. Besides, Sangre now had her own wounds to lick thanks to the Brutal Wolf offered up useless.

Her good arm shot out and touched the air before her with her clawed fingers. The air itself seemed to open up like a black yawning maw and the muted ripping static of the Garganta sounded.
